About us

We are a registered credit provider (NCRCP20233) and regulated by the National Credit Act 34 of 2005 as amended. We subscribe to the credit industry code of conduct to combat over- indebtedness and if you have any queries or questions you can contact us on info@bekelakhefin.co.za

Responsible Lender

We provide a hassle-free solution to help with unexpected expenses or last minute emergencies and the loan is repayable in one full instalment on your next pay date. We take our role seriously, and aim to improve your financial situation. For this reason, we do an affordability assessment and credit check on every loan we make as we want to make sure you can comfortably pay it back.

Open and Honest

The interest and fees applicable to your loan are calculated upfront and presented to you in your loan contract before you approve the loan. Our loan documents are easy to understand and all third party checks are done with your consent.

Available

We are always contactable and you can make payment arrangements when things don’t go according to plan.

These principles are in addition to our strict adherence to South Africa’s regulatory requirements under the National Credit Act, as well as the Consumer Protection Act.

How it works

Easy, Reliable process.

1. Online application

Apply for a loan using our application form. We’ll only ask you for essential information that will enable us to assess your application.

2. Quick approval process

We’ll verify your information and outline the terms of your loan, which you can approve online. It takes just minutes to complete.

3. Cash in your account

Once you’ve approved your loan offer, we’ll carry out a few final checks and Bekelakhe Fin will send your cash to your verified bank account.

More to know

Before offering you an online cash loan

we are required by law to make reasonable enquiries regarding
your ability to repay it. After seeking your permission to do so, our online system analyses your credit information and makes a decision promptly.
For all applications, we use credit bureaus and the publicly-available information at hand to safeguard against fraud and illegal activities. We will make the best possible lending decisions based on your circumstances and this includes evidence of your disposable income and financial commitments.
If you are declined, we will give you as much information as possible about the reasons why, along with any relevant advice we can offer.

If you are a new client, we will limit you to a R2000 loan for up to two months. You will be able to borrow up to an amount of R5000 if you've been making use of our services repeatedly.

We make payments the same day that your loan and DebiCheck is approved and money will reflect in your account within 24 hours.

We do not make any cash pay-outs to any of our clients. All payments are made directly into your approved bank account that you use to receive your
salary. Your bank account needs to be active and you have to be able to make
cash withdrawals.

We do a credit check on your name, but if you have a bad
credit record, it does not necessarily mean that we will
not be able to assist you. We consider a lot of other
factors as well, and if we feel comfortable that you will be
able to repay the loan that you made, we will definitely
consider your application

When you apply for a loan. This means that we evaluate
your financial situation every time you apply. This
enables us to lend you money, even if you have existing
debt. It is very important that you give us true and
accurate information in your application and that you
carefully read and double-check the information, as well
as the terms and conditions. If there is anything you
don’t understand, you are welcome to contact us.

We understand that certain things happen in life that you
have no control over. That is why we will always try and
accommodate your situation and make alternative
arrangements where we can. The most important part to
remember is to always communicate with us. We will not be able to assist you and come to some form of
arrangement if we don't know what's going on.

If we are not able to work out some form of
arrangement with you and you don't repay your loan,
we will be forced to hand your account over to the legal
department, and ultimately to a debt collecting
company. This will mean a great deal of unnecessary
costs for you, and it will also affect your chances of
qualifying for a loan anywhere else in the future. That is
why we urge our clients to communicate with us if they
are experiencing some financial difficulties, we are
always willing to revise your repayment plan and help
you out where we can.

What You Need to Know about Debit Order Authorisation (DebiCheck)

The South African Reserve Bank and the Payments Association of South Africa have introduced an initiative called DebiCheck as a way to help protect South Africans against fraudulent and incorrect debit order authorisations. We have adopted DebiCheck as part of our processes – This simply means that, should you decide to take out a loan with us, we will ask you to authorise your debit order with your bank. You can learn more on the DebiCheck website.
